Your Professional Materials
To create your website, Pro Actor Sites will need you to provide the following 4 things:

1) The exact domain name you want registered for your website.
If someone in the entertainment industry wants to see if you have an official website, they will most likely type in your stage name without placing a dash between the first and last name, and then throw .com on the end of it because it is the most common Internet domain suffix. For this reason, it is recommended that you use your exact stage name as your domain name, followed by .com. If you want your domain name to end with a different suffix, such as .net, .biz, .tv, etc., then you need to specify this. If you want a different domain name entirely, specify what it is and its availability will be investigated. Before your domain name is registered, you will be sent an e-mail to confirm your name choice. Registration of your domain will not proceed until you have replied to the e-mail and confirmed your name choice. And lastly, if you want to use a domain name that you have already registered, you will need to contact the company which you used to register your domain name and "point" your domain name to GoDaddy.com using the following information:

2) An actual paper version of your resume.
Your resume will be scanned so that a downloadable PDF version is available to visitors to your website in addition to the online version. In order to do this we need a physical version of your resume on bright white paper. If you already have your resume scanned into a PDF file you can e-mail it instead of mailing your physical resume. If you have your resume stored on your computer as a Microsoft Word file, then this can also be e-mailed instead of mailing your actual resume; however, the computer file that you e-mail MUST be one that prints out in the actual format that it appears on paper. Do not send a text file, or cut and paste your resume into an e-mail. Pro Actor Sites is not responsible for retyping and reformatting your resume before scanning. 3) Your bio.
This can be any length and can be delivered to Pro Actor Sites in any format. The easiest way is to cut and paste your bio into an e-mail. Bios can be e-mailed to: websitecreation@ProActorSites.com.

4) Your headshots.
The more you send in, the better your site will look. A wide variety of looks and clothing makes each page more interesting. Your Photos Page can hold up to 20 of your headshots. If you are mailing your headshots to Pro Actor Sites for scanning they need to be full size 8x10 photos or lithos. When a visitor clicks on a photo link it opens a full size version of your photo - if the headshots you send are smaller than the slot they are being placed into then the enlargements will look blurry and grainy. If you already have your headshots scanned into computer files they must be in JPG format (no PDFs) and at least 700 pixels wide or 600 pixels high. The larger the file and the resolution, the better the photo will look online. Computer files can be e-mailed to: websitecreation@ProActorSites.com. If you want specific headshots in specific locations in the website style you've chosen, please include detailed instructions. Keep in mind that if a photo slot in a website style is landscape and not portrait, then the headshot you want in that slot needs to be the same or else some of your photo will need to be cropped. Also give detailed instructions as to which and how many of your headshots you want on your Photos Page, and in what arrangement. If you do not include any instructions about headshot placement and arrangement, we will assume you want us to be creative and adventurous with the photo selection you provide. Once you've seen the finished product, if you want us to switch around the placement of photos just let us know. There is never a charge for rearranging photos that are already on your website.

5) Demo reel, if applicable.
If you are ordering a Demo Reel Page to be added to your website, please mail your reel to us in whatever format you have available, such as VHS tape or DVD. Our address is listed below. (Obviously, a digital file for the Internet created from a VHS tape will not produce the highest quality.) If you already have your demo reel transferred into a file ready to be uploaded to the Internet (.mpg, .wmv, or .rm formats) you can email them along with your other materials to websitecreation@ProActorSites.com.
